Slipesteinen - living more "unplugged"

This stone has lived it's life In a small workshop by the sea. Today it was carried out for the first time in 150 years. Felt a bit awed. Bet it has seen and heard a lot.
Our plan is to restore and use it to sharpen tools. I remember the sound and trying one as a child. Love being "unplugged" where we can. Slower and less cost-efficient perhaps, but more present and mindful.

  2. This is a wonderful old working tool, it and the people who made it deserve respect. Nothing was made disposable. With your family this could continue a useful life for another 150 years. I'm glad it found a home with someone who values its' history.
