Seventies birthday card and serviette collection.

Saturday was spent sorting out boxes in the old farm house.
Amongst other things I found these:
A chocolate box full of birthday cards from my first three years.
My mother collected them for me.

Two of my favourites.

I also found my seventies serviette collection. Lots of memories :-)

My favourite one here was the tiny blue and purple butterfly one.

In need of a bit of storage space I came up with this idea. Old wooden boxes: Singer sewing machines, margarine and dynamite boxes. Now they all make great shelves :-).

A new week ahead. May it be a good one for us all, in a big way, or in a small.

Klem

  3. Hi Pam! I love you collection of cards and your serviette collection.
I did the same with the birthdays of my kids hwen they were young. I have collected their b-day card and they have kept them until now. It is good to have personal memories, isn't it ;)?
Good idea to use these wooden boxes for all kind of things.
I wish you a nice week too.
    Hugs, Ilona
