Moments from last week - Øyeblikk sist uke

Jenny enjoying the last raspberries

Tried my hand at small paper daisies

The garden shed is complete, now for the garden.

KAJSA - our sweet little lady

Autumn colours not yet visible, but there are small signs.

A slight feeling of Autumn blues this year. Looks asif the Barn Swallows have flewn south, days are drawing in and temperatures are dropping. My three boys are still swimming in the lake, though I doubt it can be more than 14 degees C. Brr, too cold for me!
This Summer we invested in an outside fire - pit. For warmth and outdoor cooking throughout the year. That will provide comfort on grey Autumn days.

Strange to think that the other side of the world, Spring is knocking at the door! A remarkable World we live in isn't it!

  1. Ja vi har hatt noen herlige dager i det siste.
Kunne plukka av naturens velsignelser og virkelig frotse.
Tusen takk for koselig kommentar hos meg.

  2. Hello Pam,
It is funny how different one side of the planet is from the other. I must say the past few weeks in Montreal have been so hot and humid I'm actually looking forward to Autumn and the cool weather. You put up great pictures and I think your daisies look great. well done.
    Big hug,

  3. Looks like you have been busy. It is very hot here this week, but I do see some signs of fall. I love fall, but no longer a fan of winter and I know it will be here before we know it. xo Laua

  4. Här har augusti varit fantastisk. Men idag första september tycks vi få det regn vi borde fått under augusti. Men vi råder inte över vädret. Vilka vackra bilder du visar.
    Ha det fortsatt bra!

  5. I love to see the differences between countries. Jenny eats raspberries straight from the bush? Lucky girl! They are so expensive here we can't afford to have them very often and we don't share with the dogs ;) spring is a little slow for us this year but spiraea is beginning to bloom, a few more days and it will be gorgeous, then it will be the beautiful brunsfelsia's turn to celebrate warmer days with massed blooms and that heady perfume. Your flowers and shed look great, can't wait to see the garden!

  7. Always good to hear from you, Pam! Yes, fall is in the air here too. The fire pit is a great idea. Been thinking about getting one too. Your miniatures are adorable, as are your pets. xo Jennifer

  8. Lovely photos! Your daisies are great. I know what you mean about being sad to see the end of summer. For the first time in my life I feel that way. And I have been very comforted to think that on the other side of the world, it's already spring!

  9. I wish the fall was here! Instead we are in the middle of a dust storm which already lasts 3 days and will stay for at least one day more.
I love your garden shed it looks very realistic and the daisies look beautiful.
